Spanish Classes
In May, 2013 Viva Spanish School updated our class programs. Our teaching materials and workbooks are now based on the proficiency guidelines provided by the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL).
We adjust every program to meet the goals of each student. Are you in Nicaragua for vacation? You may want to focus on our “Survival Spanish for Travelers Course”. Or, perhaps you are in Nicaragua for your work or for a university project or internship. Let us know your objectives and we will tailor your classes accordingly.
Choose the program that fits your schedule:
Intensive
Intensive 20 hours per week.
Individual Spanish-language instruction in either the mornings or afternoons. This is our most popular option for full immersion and learning the language quickly!
- Mornings: 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon
- Afternoons: 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Price: $175 per week
Semi Intensive
Semi Intensive 10 hours per week.
Individualized Spanish-language instruction.
- Mornings: 8:00 a.m – 10:00 a.m and 10:00 a.m – 12:00 noon
- Afternoons: 1:00 p.m – 3:00 p.m and 3:00 p.m – 5:00 p.m
Price: $90 per week
Skype Online Classes
We offer on-line classes, one-on-one with a teacher via Skype. All you need is an inexpensive webcam and headset. You just download Skype Free PC-To-PC Calling, and you are ready! We can help you get started.
Spanish for Busy Expats
We recognize that many people, especially busy Expats, need a flexible class schedule in order to continue improving their Spanish. We are happy to customize a class schedule to meet your needs.
Medical Spanish for Healthcare Professionals
Is a course specifically designed for those in the health care industry. Our students include university medical students from the US and Canada, as well as doctors, nurses and therapists doing volunteer work in Nicaragua. This program focuses on medical vocabulary and useful phrases needed to communicate with your Hispanic patients.
